Another exceptional coffee from Finnish micro-roaster Frukt Coffee Roasters comes from the Honduran Santa Barbara region, where Danny Moreno grows his Pacas variety on the El Filo farm in the El Cedral area. Frukt has been buying his coffees since the 2020 harvest, and this lot has long been one of their most popular flavor profiles.
The cup develops a rich sweetness of raspberries and dark stone fruits, reminiscent of plums, which is elegantly complemented by a tone of cane sugar. The coffee is exceptionally clean, complex and juicy, with a pronounced sweetness, silky texture and bright, lively acidity. The result is a harmonious and very elegant flavor profile with excellent readability of individual notes.
In March 2026, the Frukt Coffee team visited Danny Moreno directly on the El Filo farm in Honduras, where they personally observed the processing method and care given to each harvest. It is the attention to detail and long-term collaboration that gives this coffee its characteristic purity and consistency.
