The Story of Terve

We simply fell in love with Northern Europe. We found countless beautiful places that will stay in our hearts forever. We made new friends. We lived through moments that we will remember for the rest of our lives. And what's more, we discovered a previously hidden love for Nordic design.

And so, in 2013, the Terve online store was born. Initially, it was a place where we sold home decorations and accessories from a few of our favorite Finnish brands, and today it has grown to feature hundreds of beautiful design pieces for your Nordic home.

We import design directly from Finland from more than 25 manufacturers, from the largest companies to small studios and independent designers. Most of the brands can only be found with us, and we represent some of them in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. We only sell authentic originals, no copies or substitutes.

Scandinavian design probably needs little introduction – pleasant materials, a balanced color palette, and a connection to the untamed Nordic nature. Living in a Nordic style isn’t just a short-term pleasure but a life philosophy where timeless beauty and practical functionality are passed down from generation to generation.

Just as we carefully select each piece, you should also choose the accessories for your home, so they serve you well and bring you joy every day. Your home is a unique place. A place where you love to return. A place your children will remember for a lifetime. A place defined not only by things but by you. Design only helps a little in this regard, but it’s still important that your home is cozy and that you feel good in it.
