Ethiopia is considered the cradle of coffee and the Yirgacheffe region is one of the places where some of the most sought-after coffees in the world come from. It is here, in the village of Chelbesa, that this exceptional lot is created, which perfectly captures the elegance and complexity of modern Ethiopian fine coffees.
Chelbesa captivates from the first sniff. A bright and juicy profile full of floral and citrus tones develops in the cup, complemented by a sweetness reminiscent of ripe stone fruit. The coffee is light, clean and exceptionally lively, with bright acidity and a long, refreshing finish. Each sip reveals another layer of flavors and aromas, making it one of those coffees that people like to return to.
The processing is carried out by the Chelbesa Washing Station, which works with local small farmers. The result is a coffee with a typically Ethiopian character – distinctly aromatic, clean and full of energy. It will stand out especially on the filter, but will also please lovers of fruitier espresso.
