The design of the Aurora hot water bottle by the famous Japanese designer Akira Minagawa is inspired by the gentle majesty of the Northern Lights. The Aurora Borealis, an integral part of the northern landscape of Finland and other northern countries, connects the earth and the universe in silent harmony.

Minagawa has transferred this impression to the blanket using simple lines that fold and overlap like delicate folds of fabric. This creates an impressive three-dimensional effect - subtle but profound. The woolen fiber is colored in the town of Lappajärvi by a plant dye obtained from locally collected Finnish boryte dye.

The hot water bottle is woven in Finland from premium Finnish Finnsheep sheep wool combined with certified New Zealand wool. The beautiful wool hot water bottle will warm you up on cold days, warm a cold bed or a sore back. The practical heating bottle is a great gift that not only your parents and grandparents will appreciate.

The removable rubber filling is made in Germany by the top manufacturer Fashy GmbH and is certified as a medical device. With every hot water bottle sold, the manufacturer supports social projects World Vision.

Akira's style is often described as romantic, naive and imaginative.
