Waxed napkins with an original Moomin motif combine playful Nordic design with a practical and ecological solution for storing food. Thanks to a mixture of beeswax, resin and jojoba oil, the waxed napkin worksas a natural alternative to plastic wrap. It adheres well to food and the surface of dishes. Just warm it slightly in your hands and shape it around fruit, vegetables, toast or a bowl, for example. Thanks to the natural antibacterial properties of wax, food stays fresher longer, while you save the environment. A great way to pack a snack or cover food in the fridge.

The Moomin motif celebrates the joy of cultivating and caring for the land - sowing, planting and watching new life emerge. Moominmamma sows seeds from her apron, Moominpappa digs, the sun shines over the meadow and Moomin performs happy somersaults.

The napkins are handmade in a factory on the pristine island of Gotland, where the young couple Gustaf and Linnea maintain their own bee colonies. The set includes 3 pieces in different sizes.

100% OEKO-Tex cotton, Swedish beeswax, Swedish pine resin, organic jojoba oil

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Hand wash only in cold to lukewarm running water. You can use a small amount of ecological dishwashing detergent. Dry with a cloth or let it air dry. Do not expose to heat, as the beeswax could melt. With proper care, the napkins will last approximately 1 year or up to 400 uses. They can then be re-impregnated with a mixture of wax, resin and oil to extend their lifespan.
