The efficient shape of the Tiima hanging glass lamp resembles an hourglass. The lamp is part of the glass lighting collection by the legendary Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala. The timeless Finnish design fits well in both classic and modern interiors and the lamp will stand out both individually and in a group of several pieces.

The lamp consists of a dimmable LED light source made of opal glass, a hand-blown glass shade, a black metal base, a black cable and a ceiling cap.

TAPIO WIRKKALA
Tapio Wirkkala is one of the most famous names in Finnish design. He spent a large part of his career working for Iittala, for which he also designed the iconic Ultima Thule glass collection. However, his brilliant sense of design has also been put to good use when designing Finnish banknotes. He was the artistic director of the University of Arts and Design in Helsinki for many years and his success is confirmed by many awards, such as 6 gold medals from the Triennale in Milan.
