The Perhonen (Finnish for butterfly) floor lamp plays with light and color, creating the perfect atmosphere for daydreaming. The adjustable color elements of the lampshade create an imaginative color palette through which the light passes. The distinctive style of Finnish design icon Yrjö Kukkapura is completed by the key role of the screws that hold the individual components together.

Yrjö Kukkapuro designed this lamp in 1968 for his experimental studio house. The lamp reached its final commercial form in the 1980s, when the postmodern style fully influenced Finnish design. A beautiful, timeless piece that will be a striking yet functional element in your interior.
