The design was created by Marja Rautiainen, who is the key to the success of the manufacturer Lapuan Kankurit. She represents a new, open-minded generation of Finnish designers. She uses strong professional skills and a passion for Finnish textile traditions in her work. Marja is behind Lapuan Kankurit's most successful motifs and her work strongly influences contemporary Finnish textile design.
