The large wool blanket Juhannus (Finnish for midsummer) is woven in Finland from premium Finnish Finnsheep wool combined with certified New Zealand wool. Designer Hanna Galtat was inspired by the increasing and decreasing intensity of daylight before and after the midsummer. The wool fiber of this blanket is dyed with a vegetable dye obtained from coffee from surpluses from a Finnish roaster.

Sustainable and responsible production using local materials combined with the 100-year history of the Lapuan Kankurit family weaving mill delivers first-class wool blankets that you will love for their softness and timeless Nordic design.
