Comfortable slippers with the iconic Taifuuni pattern are made of organic cotton terry cloth and have a rubber sole for a safe and stable step. The slippers in a combination of light and dark green shades are part of the limited Marimekko collection.

The Taifuuni motif, designed by Maija Isola, was originally part of a series of patterns based on photographs depicting the curves of the human body. The inspiration for the Taifuuni pattern was a woman's shoulder and the model for the photographs was the designer's daughter.

MAIJA ISOLA
The most famous Finnish textile designer worked for Marimekko for an incredible 40 years and designed over 500 patterns. She was first made famous in the 1960s with the distinctive Unikko floral motif, which became an icon of the brand and adorns its products to this day. Marimekko's design style and philosophy are largely based on the work of Maija Isola. Even after her death, we can enjoy Nordic motifs that are extraordinarily unique, emotional and timeless.
