The Sumu cushion cover was designed by designer Maija Fagerlund, who was inspired by the structure of the fabric itself. The goal was to create a surface without a regular rhythm – something organic, hazy and soft to the touch.

Unlike traditional repeating patterns, Sumu fabric has a lively and variable appearance. Thanks to the diverse weaving techniques, a unique surface is created that brings peace and softness to the interior without unnecessary symmetry.

The cover is woven in Finland from fine wool from the local Finnsheep breed and certified New Zealand wool, which are valued for their softness, warmth and sustainable origin. Thanks to its timeless Nordic design and honest workmanship, it fits into both modern and rustic interiors - whether you place it on a sofa, armchair or bed.

100% pure sheared wool (fiber - Finnish Finnsheep wool and New Zealand wool certified by Wool Integrity New Zealand, warp - South American wool spun in Europe)

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Hand wash at 30 °C or dry clean. For routine maintenance and a fresh scent, we recommend the Finnish natural Sees textile spray .
