MIKKO LAAKKONEN
Finnish designer Mikko Laakkonen was born in Espoo in 1974. Before turning to design, he studied musical instrument making. After graduating from the University of Helsinki, he worked for several architectural firms and founded his own studio in 2004. He has received international awards throughout his career, including the prestigious Red Dot design and Good Design Award.
