A luxurious blanket woven from premium Australian merino wool and organic cotton with an elaborate Shakki motif, designed for the Finnish textile company Lapuan Kankurit by the talented Finnish designer Ida Korsström. The checkered pattern cleverly blends red, green and white shades, creating an incredible interplay of colors. The blanket has a red gradient on one side and green on the other, so you can easily change the impression of your interior. Thanks to the soft and delicate material, the blanket will hug you and warm you whenever you need it.

Ida Korsström is a Finnish textile designer and graduate of the prestigious Aalto University. Her work is characterized by straightforward yet expressive patterns and a strong sense of color. With the intention of creating timeless designs, Ida tends to look for inspiration both in the past and the present. She works intuitively, paying careful attention to material and quality, and excels in the interaction of colors in woven fabrics.
