Beautiful deep porcelain plate made of high-quality and durable vitro porcelain. Clean lines and carefully crafted details are characteristic of the porcelain from the 24h collection. The famous Finnish designer Heikki Orvola originally designed this tableware for his own use, but the beautiful, graceful lines caught the attention of the famous brand Arabia, and so the 24h collection went into mass production in 1996. Behind the proven timeless design are clear, simple shapes and a typical Finnish emphasis on practicality. The collection was named after its purpose, because it has the ambition to serve all day long on any occasion.

HEIKKI ORVOLA
Leading Finnish designer Heikki Orvola was born in 1943 in Helsinki. He works mainly with glass, which was also at the start of his career in the 1960s, when he worked in the glassworks in Nuutajärvi. In 1987, he designed the Kivi candlesticks, which Iittala still produces today. He has also designed for Marimekko and the Arabia porcelain factory, and his successes have only been confirmed by the prestigious Kaj Franck Design Prize. Today, he teaches design as a professor in Helsinki.
