Design: Katsuji Wakisaka
The bag with a natural timeless pattern was designed for Marimekko by leading Japanese designer Katsuji Wakisaka back in 1975. It is made of unbleached cotton and has been a proven multifunctional classic of the Marimekko brand for years. It is ideal as a case for writing instruments, glasses, cosmetics or can be used as a wallet. The bag has a metal frame that is easy to open and close. The unbleached cotton fabric has a natural, vibrant color and a surface where small dots from the cotton plant may appear. The bag is sewn in Kitee, Finland, from fabric printed in Helsinki.
